File Types Man is a small program that shows a list of all the extensions and types of files registered in your PC. It is an alternative to the "File Types" tab in "Folder Operations" in Windows, and is different to it in that File Types Man not only shows the extension and type of file but also other data like: file description, MIME type, URL protocol, date and time of last modification, directory of the icon used for that file, etc.



With File Types Man you can edit the properties and parameters of each file. You just have to double click on it and a window appears where you can modify this data and even delete some of its actions.



NOTE: On the File Types Man author´s website you can find other versions of the program that work under the Unicode versions of Windows 98 and Me, and for operating systems with 64 bit processors.
The original program is in English but if you prefer, on the author´s website you can find free patches to translate it into German, French, Italian, Chinese, etc.
